Betterathlete.co.za is a start-up online company that aims to become the “one-stop” portal for endurance athletes in South Africa. Betterathlete.co.za will offer athletes a place to connect with their peers through social media, seek information from respected professional athletes and coaches, learn about their sports, upcoming races, news, product reviews, build training plans to meet their goals and conveniently purchase everything they need for training and race day without having to waste their most precious resource – time. Betterathlete.co.za will generate traffic first and eventually commerce. The betterathlete.co.za e-commerce project is the natural evolution for the betterathelete.co.za internet presence. The e-commerce project will be developed gradually with a progressive increase in products. The site will market and sell technology-driven sporting equipment and products aimed at improving athletic performance and endurance, especially those products that have historically been difficult to find in South Africa.
